Madras School of Social Work organized HR Coffee Clup’18 event on Recent Trends in Workplace Monitoring and Surveillance. CEO of Startup Xperts Mr. Shyam Sekar S participated as a Panelist and shared lots of provoking ideas to the audiences.
Jury for IIT-M LeanHack Startup Event
IIT-Madras organized the LeanHack Startup event, which had numerous entries for their startup pitch nomination. Finally on the pitch day, Mr Shyam Sekar S, Chief Mentor and Founder of Startup Xperts, acted as the Judge to evaluate and award the winning startup pitch.
Along with Mr Shyam, Mr Mahesh Ramachandran – Partner and Fund Manager of Pontaq, judged the event.
As a Mentor, Judge, Jury for numerous startup events and programs at IIT-Madras, Mr Shyam said, “Well organized event by the Entrepreneurship Cell at IIT-M. I am glad to be associated and happy to support in the future as well”.
The finalists thanked the judges and also the organizers for a great exposure through this event.
Bootcamp: Technology Entrepreneurship Development Program
Conducted Technology Entrepreneurship Development Program(5 day Boot Camp) for Govt. of India CIPET, from 24 – 28 Sep, 2018. Around 25 participants enrolled and had great interactive and engaging sessions.
The Talk Big Ideas to scale SMEs and Startups, Chennai
The talk had organized its annual high impact event on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the future of India, in Chennai on 25-Aug, at Feathers Hotel, Chennai.
Startup Xperts was the Knowledge Partner and so Startup Xperts had taken up the task of managing the entrepreneur awards selection process. There were 10 Emerging SME Awards and 3 Women Entrepreneur Awards felicitated by Mr CK Kumaravel, Founder, Naturals, and Ms Anupama Shivaram, Chairperson, FICCI FLO Chennai.
Mr Shyam was part of the Panel Discussion on ‘The Art of Digital’. A very interactive and engaging session, it had insights as to how to approach digital marketing and the do’s and don’ts in doing digital marketing for the SME and Startup businesses.
Entrepreneurship Awareness Program/Talk with EDII
EDII has been spearheading entrepreneurship awareness program across various Government Colleges and Mr Shyam Sekar, Senior Mentor, has been requested to address the students on ‘Steps to become an Entrepreneur and how to build Startup’.
Mr Shyam has been delivering a series of talks every month starting with Govt. Arts College, Nandanam, followed by Bharathi Women’s College and recently at Quaide Milleth Collge, Chennai.
