Talk @ EDII on MSME Business opportunities and Venture Capital fund

To promote entrepreneurship Startup Xperts has been acting as a catalyst for years and continuing its support to EDII-TN (Entrepreneurship Development Innovation Institute-TN) Startup Expert Mr Shyam Sekar S, addressed numerous entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, small business owners, through an online meeting. The topic of the online session was ‘MSME Business opportunities and Venture Capital fund’.
Shyam, Founder & Chief Mentor – Startup Xperts, covered various aspects right from entrepreneurship process, identifying opportunity, how MSMEs can pick the right business opportunity, importance of marketing and branding for MSMEs, funding aspects, different type of venture funds, amongst others. It was a very interactive session with a lot of takeaways for the audience that can help them move to the next level.

Sustaining values for lifelong learning

Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav (DG Vaishnav) College (reaccredited with A++ Grade by NAAC) had organized the session under the theme ‘Sustaining values for lifelong learning’. They had invited our Founder and Startup Mentor, Shyam Sekar S, to deliver a session to their students on the topic ‘Campus to Entrepreneurship’. Shyam had shared his insights motivating the students to pursue entrepreneurship as one of the career choices. The talk was well received with lots of interaction and interesting questions from the students and faculty as well.

National level technical exhibition INNOVISION 23

Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC), Chennai had invited our Founder and Startup Expert, Shyam Sekar S, as a Chief Guest for their National level technical exhibition INNOVISION 23.

REC is an autonomous institution and this was their first big initiative of showcasing startups from across various colleges to display their products / services / ideas to the jury panel. Their Dean Dr Murali, Dr Priya – IT Dept Head, had spearheaded this initiative to spread entrepreneurship awareness to their students.

Startup Expert, Shyam, shared his thoughts to students on the topic ‘How to overcome Startup fears?’. Students responded very well to his talk with a lot of thought-provoking questions. He is continuing his journey in spreading entrepreneurship / startup awareness sessions to build a better startup / entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Mentor for IIT-Bombay Eureka Junior

IIT Bombay had conducted Eureka Junior, an entrepreneurship initiative for the school students across India. Shyam Sekar S, Chief Mentor and Strategist – Startup Xperts, has been their mentor for both their editions. The focus is more in terms of conditioning their mind to facilitate becoming an entrepreneur down the line. Focus was in BMC (Business Model Canvas) and Pitch deck, and the participation was very promising as students showed a lot of confidence and positivity in these sessions.
